Description: The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara holds the lotus bud (Padma) on his lower-right-hand, the vase (Kamandalu) on his lower-left-hand, the rosary (Aksamala) on his upper-right-hand, and the book (Pustaka) on his upper-left-hand.
The Bodhisattva is shown a chignon (Jata) with similar parallel lines indicating the hair, and he wears a long dhoti, secured at the hips by a simple belt, and wears a wide simple necklace, which are characteristics of the 7th - 8th century.
